MYXD was established for one specific purpose; to bring bar quality cocktails to your home. Inspired by our cocktail bars in the Highlands and recognising how much people were missing proper bar-style drinks during the 2020 Covid Pandemic, we spent months reformulating some of our most popular libations; optimising them for quality, freshness and convenience.
Some of the best minds in UK mixology collaborated to produce our range of drinks that are not only balanced and have great recognisable flavours, but are also convenient to store, prepare and offer fantastic value. We are delighted to bring our cocktail pouches to your home or garden that we would be proud to serve in our own bars.
But who is the man behind these exquisite cocktail creations?
MYXD founder Grant Murray brings a magical formula of decades of mixology experience, along with a wealth of knowledge from working within some of the best cocktail bars in the world. He didn’t want us to write this next part, but we think you need to know why he’s the man to make you the best cocktails.
- Winner of a world final cocktail competition ‘Cherry Heering 2016’ against 2500 competitors, in 45 countries (pretty impressive).
- Won the Tennessee calling Jack Daniels cocktail competition as a result he was invited (and did!) a guest shift in the world’s best bar, The Dead Rabbit in New York.
- He had a cocktail voted in the top ten Cognac cocktails in the world by the prestigious Martell and Diffords guide.
- His cocktails have also been published a number of times in the Diffords guide (show off)
